Joanna Newham is an acclaimed and highly accomplished Dermal Specialist whose quest for healthy, vibrant, age appropriate skin leaves no stone left unturned.

Significantly qualified in both Dermal Science and Clinical Aesthetics, Joanna applies an integrated approach to her client’s skin story working alongside functional medicine, eastern traditions and western practice to determine the root cause of every concern.

Her approach to Skin Health is unique and completely person centred which means she regularly works with and refers to a multi-disciplinary team of experts such as Dermatologists, Integrated Practitioners, Naturopaths, Nutritionists, Meditation Masters, Bodyworkers, Psychotherapists, Cosmetic Nurses to provide her clients with the right advice and treatments tailored to their needs.

Joanna is renowned for her warm and gracious manner, extraordinary attention to detail and unparalleled client commitment. Her thorough and positive approach to skin health and ageing has built allegiance, trust and commitment from those that see her. Her dedication to achieving outstanding results is what has built her a cult and loyal following as has her facial massage techniques that encompass sculpting, lifting and remodeling the face.

Joanna practices out of her Skin Clinic based in Avalon Beach and by regular invitation to a number of Wellness Resorts and Retreats globally. Joanna holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Dermal Science and is in her final year of completing a Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Aesthetics). She is also certified in Buccal Facial Massage, Neo Sculpting with Pro-Age Aesthetics Academy, London and Kobido Facial Sculpting with L’Académie Des Facialiste, Paris. All of Joanna’s treatments commence with a comprehensive Skin Consultation incorporating a Skin Instant Lab or VisioLab and are completed with a personalised Skin Story Follow Up for her clients to take away.

Joanna is one of a very few international Skin Experts invited to partner with the acclaimed Biologique Recherche.

Joanna will be in residence from 15 December 2024 to 15 January 2025 at JA Manafaru Private Island as their Visiting Skin Master and Expert.
